Tips for Cost Savings on Tubing Shipments:
If you can use pieces 48 inches or shorter, you will save money on tubing shipping costs.
We recommend ordering tubing in shorter lengths whenever possible and we do offer FREE Shipping to qualifying orders with tubing 48 inches long or shorter.
Tubing over 48 inches long does cost more to ship due to carriers' additional "oversized length" penalties.
Why pay a premium for shipping and then cut the tubing shorter after you receive it?
If you can use 48 inch lengths (or less), it makes more sense to place your order with a pre-cut mindset versus purchasing long lengths.
We offer Chromoly Tubing competitively priced in convenient pre-cut 1 foot increments - up to 90 inches long (the maximum allowable length we can ship you thru most carriers).
It's no problem if you need lengths over 48 inches long for your project, order it that way. To help you with shipping costs, we do provide discounted shipping rates.
PRO Tech Tip:
How to Telescope Tubing
For the best fit when telescoping tubing, select 0.058" wall tubing and slide over tubing with a 1/8" smaller outside diameter.
Example: 1-1/8" x .058" fits over 1" outside diameter tubing.
