The Chassis Shop has been specializing in supplying 4130 chromoly to car builders and racers for over 40 years — we’ve learned a lot about tubing. We stock a large inventory of round chromoly tubing, offer custom tube bending services, and carry 4130N chromoly plate for all your fabrication needs.
Domestic Sourcing — No Compromises. We offer only premium domestically drawn 4130N tube, or material produced in Germany which has proven very satisfactory over time. We do not offer Asian-produced chromoly — it does not bend, weld, or perform the same as DFARS-compliant 4130 tube.
4130 Round Chromoly Tubing — Many combinations, Cut to Length
Premium 4130N normalized chromoly tubing, Cold Drawn Seamless (CDS), certified to meet or exceed MIL-T-6736B spec. Available in 31 outside diameter/wall thickness combinations from 3/8" to 1-5/8" OD, in pre-cut lengths from 12" to 90". Also known as chrome moly, chrome alloy, ProMoly, or 4130 CDS tube.

Custom Tube Bending — Any Angle, Any Configuration
Need a bend that doesn’t come off the shelf? Pro-Werks offers custom bending of 4130 chromoly tubing to your specifications. Minimum basic single bend starts at $50.00 per bend plus material. Complex pieces requiring additional layout time are charged accordingly. Please allow 5–10 business days for scheduling.
Tube bending capabilities: 3/8" to 1-5/8" OD, bend radii from 15/16" to 7", up to 180° of bend. Bend types available: Acute, Right Angle, Obtuse, Parallel, Dual Angle, and Complex.

4130 Chromoly Plate — Aircraft Grade AMS-6345-C, 5 Thicknesses
Aircraft grade 4130 chromoly flat stock, AMS-6345-C normalized. The primary difference between hot and cold rolled 4130 sheet/plate is cosmetic — the mechanical strength is very similar. Smooth surface finish. Perfect for fabricating high-strength custom tabs, brackets, and gussets. Available in 5 thicknesses and multiple pre-cut sizes.
