Mild Steel Flat Weld Tabs

Mild Steel Flat Weld Tabs for Chassis Fabrication

Pro-Werks Mild Steel Flat Tabs are the most versatile weld tab in the lineup — a simple, flat profile that works across an enormous range of chassis, suspension, and general fabrication applications. Die stamped and tumbled to remove sharp edges, these tabs are ready to weld right out of the bag.

When to Use a Flat Tab

Flat tabs are the go-to choice when you need a clean, low-profile attachment point on a tube or flat surface. Common applications include:

  • Rod end and heim joint mounting on suspension links
  • Cable clamp and hardware attachment points
  • General accessory and bracket mounting on tube chassis
  • Harness, fuel line, and brake line routing tabs

Mild Steel vs. Chromoly — Which Should You Choose?

Mild steel flat tabs are an excellent choice for non-structural and low-load mounting applications where cost efficiency matters. For suspension links, steering, or any safety-critical attachment point, upgrade to Pro-Werks Chromoly Flat Tabs for maximum strength. Mild steel can be successfully welded to both mild steel and chromoly using the proper filler rod.
