Overall Cable length is measured tip-to-tip of the 10-32 NF rods.

Silver Jacket Universal Push Pull Cables are available in 6-inch increments, so you can quickly and affordably get the length that you need for a proper fit!

This large on the shelf selection of sizes eliminates waiting for custom built push pull cables to be assembled.

How do you measure correctly for Cable Length?

To determine the proper length cable needed for your application, simply measure for the tip-to-tip length (overall length) by using a flexible tape measure to snake through the actual intended cable route.

Push Pull Control Cables - Smooth and Responsive

33 series Push Pull Cables are an integral part of most race vehicles; the unsung heroes of control. When your success depends on the performance of a part, it makes sense to choose the best.

That's where Pro-werks comes in — with the trademark Silver Jacket Cables. Whether you are modulating the throttle, grabbing a gear, or pulling your 'chute; you will probably use a push-pull control cable to do it.

As the Silver Jacket name implies, these 33 series cables come in the trademark Silver color —  a color that will compliment any paint color scheme. The flexible housing measures only 0.325" outside diameter.

Push Pull Control Cables Popular Uses:

Silver Jacket Ultimate Cable Construction

Armored multi-strand core:

Pro-Werks Silver Jacket armored multi-strand stainless steel core cable construction

Silver Jacket Cables are available with either a Solid Wire core or in our exclusive Ultimate series; featuring an armored flexible multi-strand, Stainless Steel core — the Ultimate in push and pull cable construction.

Both types of Pro-werks cables are well suited for any cable operated application that requires pushing or pulling, These universal cables may be used as OEM push pull cable replacements and are right at home in all extreme use environments. This combination should be considered as an upgrade replacement for Teleflex Morse TFxtreme and Red Jacket Morse throttle push pull control cables.

Rated at 60# pull and 50# push, intermittent loads may exceed these ratings considerably without failure. These recommended load ratings of the Silver Jacket Control Cable reflect a balance between maximum load and reasonable cable life.

These aren’t a flimsy garden equipment control cable that will let you down when you need it the most ... these are heavy duty push pull cables suitable for many cable control applications. Including Marine, Mercruiser, Industrial, Off Road, Race Cars, Performance Automotive, Home Built Aircraft, Agricultural, and Street Rods.

Silver Jacket Cable Installation Tips (PDF)

    Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How do I measure for total cable length?

A: Use a flexible ruler, or hose and snake it through the intended cable route. The cable length is measured from tip-to-tip (overall length) of the attaching ends - not the cable housing mounting points.

Q: My cable installation is close to the exhaust system. How do I protect it from the heat?

A: When installing a cable in an excessive heat environment, incorporating a heat deflector shield with adequate air gaps between the heat source and the cable housing is recommended.

    PRO Tech Tip:

For the most efficient and longest cable operating life it is recommended to install the cable so the heaviest load is in a pulling motion whenever possible.
